‘Queen & Slim’ Actress Jodie Turner-Smith & Husband Joshua Jackson Welcome 1st Child
Congrats are in order for actress Jodie Turner-Smith and her husband Joshua Jackson. According to PEOPLE magazine, the two welcomed a baby girl. Her name and birth date haven’t been announced publicly, but according to the couple’s reps,
“both mother and baby are happy and healthy.”
Back in January, the Queen & Slim star posted a nude snapshot of herself, taken by her alleged husband at the time Joshua Jackson.

At the time, the two hadn’t confirmed a marriage or a bun in the oven, but they were seen leaving a courthouse back in August 2019. Now that the baby has reportedly arrived, Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson might be preparing to relocate. She told the Sunday Times in January that she didn’t want to raise her children in the U.S.
“The racial dynamics over here are fraught. White supremacy is overt. It’s the reason I don’t want to raise my kids here. I don’t want my kids to grow up doing active shooter drills at school.”
She also didn’t confirm that she and Joshua are actually husband and wife. But she said she doesn’t deny it when people tell her congratulations.
“I haven’t said to anybody, ‘Yeah, we got married’. People are assuming whatever they want, but when people tell me ‘Congratulations’, I say ‘Thank you’.”
