Kehlani Vents About Her Upcoming Album: It Has Been One Of The Hardest Things I’ve Ever Done!
Oakland-born singer Kehlani has announced her newest studio album entitled ‘It Was Good Until It Wasn’t’, will be out May 8 via Atlantic Records. The cover artwork was shot in her backyard and shows Kehlani looking over a stone wall while holding a water hose. But is she still struggling just days before its release?
In a recent Twitter post, the songbird vented,
“Yall have no idea what it’s taken to get this album out. I’m going to show you soon. It’s been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done but f***it feels so rewarding because it wasn’t going to come out at first. I said f*** that.”

Kehlani‘s new album is the follow-up to her 2017 debut album, ‘SweetSexySavage’. The 25-year-old made the announcement that it would be released on her 25th birthday.

Still, this isn’t the first time she’s opened up about her struggle on Twitter.

But she’s still releasing music and videos to go along with it. Last month, Kehlani took advantage of the current stay-at-home orders around the country by filming and directing a quarantine style music video for her latest single, ‘Toxic’.

When speaking about the sexy video she previously said,
”I just made this sh*t and I’m about to let it go. I can’t wait to y’all faces.”
