Brandy Returns With New Music Feat. Chance The Rapper Called ‘Baby Mama’ [LISTEN]

Brandy is finally ready to follow up on her 2012 album Two Eleven.

Brandy is set to kick off her long-awaited seventh album campaign with a little help from Chance The Rapper.

The Hit-Boy-produced track was originally set to be released last month but landed just in time for Mother’s Day. She released a teaser of the song with a clip from the video on Instagram.

Brandy originally made the announcement of the collaboration while co-hosting “The Talk” with her brother Ray J.

The R&B icon says the song serves as an empowering message for “mothers out there who are doing their best:”

“It’s celebrating mothers out there who are out there doing their best for their children and striving in their independence, in their strength, in their power. I just wanted to come out with a powerful message like that.”

Brandy explains how she finally got the guts to release new music:

“I finally got the guts to put a single out,” she continued. “It’s been a long time coming, but music is my passion, it’s my love, and I have so much left in me so I wanted to come back to this music world and just give it all I’ve got.”
