Justin Bieber Says His ‘Changes’ Album Was R&B After Kehlani Claims She Had The 1st ‘Strictly R&B’ Album Of The Year
It seems that Canadian musician Justin Bieber wants the world to know that Kehlani’s latest project, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, isn’t the only full R&B album that’s been released so far this year.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Kehlani, born Kehlani Ashley Parrish, shared a link to her new album and encouraged her fans to stream what she says is the first full R&B album that’s been released in a while.
“It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. Link in bio. Last day to stream to get first strictly RNB first week #1 album in a long time. Out genre isn’t dead, our genre deserves. link in bio! what’s your favorite lyric drop them in the comments boiiiiii and stream awayyy!”
Kehlani’s caption might have rubbed Justin Bieber the wrong way. He commented on her post and let it be known that his latest project, Changes, is also an R&B album.
“Changes was rnb ;)”
Even though Justin Bieber’s album had features from hip-hop artists such as Lil Dicky, Travis Scott, and Quavo, it did go number 1 on both the top R&B and Hip-Hop albums chart and top the R&B album chart.
Do you think Justin Bieber’s album Changes is considered an R&B album? Let us know in the comments.
