Michael Jackson’s Nephew Calls Out Oprah Winfrey: You Should Apologize To My Family!
Michael Jackson‘s nephew, Taj Jackson, is calling for media mogul Oprah Winfrey to apologize to his family, The Jacksons. His message comes a day after news recently broke that she responded to false claims that she had been arrested for child and sex trafficking. She said in her O Magazine:
“Imagine sitting cozily in bed, propped up on your favorite pillows, 240 pages into a riveting family saga—when you get a phone call telling you you’re trending on Twitter. And you discover it’s a bogus and vile story that you were arrested and your home was raided for sex trafficking and child pornography. I can’t and don’t want to imagine an uglier accusation.”
“My worst fear realized. Being slandered, accused of a crime I didn’t commit. I was exploited regularly with false, crude, inappropriate stories about me and food. And then about me and Stedman [Graham]. And me and Gayle [King]. Anything and everything that could sell a tabloid. Every week, another lie to ignore or deny. I never got used to it.”
Taj Jackson responded to a report concerning Oprah Winfrey’s comments and tweeted,
“Maybe you should apologize to my family then”
Taj Jackson, 1/3 of the music group 3T, has been very vocal in his stance to defend his uncle on social media platforms and in interviews. He has been especially vocal in his issues with Oprah Winfrey hosting the Leaving Neverland documentary, a special that featured two men James Safechuck and Wade Robson, who alleged Michael Jackson sexually assaulted them when they were boys.
Taj Jackson even started a hashtag, #IKnewLeavingNeverlandWasBS, where fans and supporters could post their thoughts and feelings on the never-ending allegations referenced in the documentary against Michael Jackson.
