‘RHOP’ Monique Samuels Alludes To Gizelle Bryant Having A Fake Relationship W/ Pastor Jamal Bryant
Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant‘s rekindled relationship with her ex-husband, megachurch pastor, Jamal Bryant, is still being put to the test – even after Gizelle has vehemently denied rumors of him fathering a child with a member of his congregation. Gizelle Bryant told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live:
“That is all the way a lie…Clearly we’re very important if people are going to make up these lies. Put some respect on Jamal’s name. He’s doing wonderful things in Atlanta.”

But Gizelle Bryant’s relationship with her ex may be taking a back seat in prevalence on the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Potomac. In the same WWHL episode, she teased the dissolution of her friendship with castmate, Monique Samuels. This is the current status of their relationship according to the mother of three, after Monique Samuels covered her face in their cast photo:
“I haven’t seen her [Monique Samuels] in a long time, and that’s totally fine with me…I felt like she just explained to everybody [that] she’s a third-grader. It was our cast photo! It wasn’t like it was some random picture of me- it’s our cast photo! So clearly she feels a certain way about my face. And this face should not be scratched out, ever!”
When Andy Cohen asked who had the most to answer to on this season’s reunion special, Gizelle Bryant answered:
“Oh my goodness! That’d be Monique!”
Monique Samuels immediately responded on Twitter, hinting at Gizelle not only using their beef for a storyline – but alleging that Pastor Jamal Bryant doesn’t claim his ex-wife outside of the show. Monique tweeted:
“She should have said herself considering the buzz about her “man” The fact he’s telling people “It’s reality tv. It’s not real” when asked about his relationship with ankles. On a mission for a storyline & still falling short Let me put my receipts back in my pocket #RHOP”

As previously reported, this season of Real Housewives of Potomac has been postponed to the summer months due to the coronavirus pushing back production.
