Hilary Duff Shuts Down Sex Trafficking Accusations Made Against Her On Twitter

Actress Hilary Duff was a trending topic on Friday night (May 22). Some Twitter users speculated that the actress was involving her son in an alleged sex trafficking scam.

Hilary Duff shared some photos on her now deleted Instagram stories of her son Luca, 8, laying down nude on a bed. Hilary blurred out his body parts. Because the photos went viral on Twitter, some users believed that Hilary Duff was involving her son in sex trafficking. Because of the alarming rumors, the actress took to her twitter page to address the allegations. The actress tweeted,

“Everyone bored af right now I know..but this is actually disgusting….. whoever dreamed this one up and put this garbage into the universe should take a break from their damn phone. Maybe get a hobby”

Hilary’s rep also released a statement strongly denouncing the false allegations made against the actress.

“Let me say this in the strongest terms, this is all a fabricated disgusting internet lie, created and perpetuated by trolls and idiots. Hilary’s own post this morning is all that needs to be said on the matter. Everyone who knows Hilary is fully aware what an amazing mom she is and that requires no further comment. If only people with this much time on their hands used their energy to solve real problems in the world.”
