Gospel Artists Kirk Franklin & Fred Hammond Will Battle Each Other
Music producers, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have now enlisted the heavenly sounds of gospel artists, Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond for the upcoming Verzuz battle.

In the Zoom meeting video that was posted to both Kirk Franklin’s and Fred Hammond’s respective Instagram pages, they are joined by Swizz Beats and Timbaland. In the clip, Swizz Beatz says,
“We think that our culture needs a hug, we think that we need to heal some people. Well, we need to heal a lot of people, we need to help some people heal.”

Kirk Franklin also posted the video captioning it:
“In the midst of all this darkness, let’s celebrate light. Excited to join my brother @realfredh on @verzuztv this Sunday at 5pm EST”

The the gospel artists aren’t the first to battle on IG (John P. Kee and Bishop Hezekiah Walker recently battled), they will be the first gospel duo to battle on Verzuz.

Both Grammy award-winning artists have topped the gospel charts for over twenty years and fans couldn’t be more excited.
