Nene Leakes Makes Light Of Rumors She’s Cheating On Gregg Leakes: Let Us Cheat In Peace!

Nene Leakes has got jokes! The Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star made an announcement on Instagram that she and her husband, Gregg Leakes, are working on something very special, but took a jab at those who claim she and her husband have “side pieces.” Nene Leakes writes,

The bond is unbreakable! Everything else might break tho ? but not the bond!

Some fans took the caption quite literally and wanted answers. One fan writes,

“Y’all got side pieces!? Spill the tea sis lol”

Another fan joins in saying,

“Side pieces tho!?? #IKTR folks need to mind the business that pays them!”

The two, who initially married in 1997, have had a bit of a complicated relationship. After filing for divorce in 2011, the couple remarried in 2013. They climbed another hill when it was revealed that Gregg Leakes was battling colon cancer. After several surgeries, it was reported that he is now cancer-free.

At the same time, Nene Leakes recently shut down allegations that she was having an extramarital affair with Rodney White, a director for the United States Department of Agriculture.

Nene’s fellow castmate and businesswoman, Kenya Moore, first seemed to confirm the rumors and said:

It didn’t surprise me because a lot of the housewives spoke about it amongst themselves. So many of us knew that she was out with this man constantly being affectionate, and we knew what she was doing on the side. And that’s why one of the reasons specifically I did not want her to give me fake advice about how happy her marriage is when I know she’s out here spending a lot of time and being affectionate with another man out in public.

For me it’s like if you’re so comfortable being out in public with someone and kissing them and being just inappropriate — you’re a married woman — so for me, there was nothing that she could tell me about a marriage, because your own behavior with your own husband is not something that I would want to emulate at any point in time during my marriage. So for me, she was the last person to give me advice.

But a rep for Nene explained:

It’s quite disturbing that especially during this time of so much pain that once again we have to deal with a disgruntled housewife trying to capitalize on NeNe’s name and personal life for the sake of publicity.

To drag her decades-long marriage, family and relationship through the mud on a consistent basis to insinuate anything about my client’s character is sad, confusing, and a despicable PR tactic that we have no interest in contributing to. We encourage Kenya to focus on her own marriage and we wish her well.

This is not the first we’ve heard of the Leakes duo having side pieces. Nene revealed that she discovered that her husband was having inappropriate conversations with one of her employees.
