NeNe Leakes Shares Cryptic Message: People Are Out Here Fronting & Treating This Like A PR Stunt!

NeNe Leakes is never one to NOT speak her mind! Recently, she made headlines for allegedly cheating on her husband, Gregg Leakes. She even made light of the accusations in an Instagram post and then clarified that she and her husband were, in fact, working on a project together that insinuated the possibility of the pair going into business together with a venue of sorts somewhere in Atlanta.

However, NeNe Leakes‘ most recent post on her official Instagram is all serious. In the middle of nationwide and global protests in support of justice for George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man who died shortly after former cop Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for over 8 minutes, and many other black people who have unjustly died in police custody, NeNe Leakes has spoken out and referenced some recent frustration she’s had:

During times like this, people are afraid of speaking ou! Afraid they might say the wrong thing even though they have good intentions!

Well i got a little frustrated tonight talking to people about issues happening today and how some of us work so hard to please others but when things such as this happens, there’s NO support from the people you’ve worked the hardest for!

It’s hard letting your voice be heard but we have to start somewhere! There’s so many areas of life that i pray this movement will help! I pray for the lives that have been lost and the families that have been wronged! THANK YOU to all out here fighting for justice and equality!

The veteran star of the Real Housewives of Atlanta ended her post with a message of encouragement and unity:

God is the answer and will always be the answer! UNITED WE STAND

She later took things a step further and appeared to call out celebrities who are hitting the frontlines with ill intentions.

She tweeted Saturday (June 6th),

There are people out here acting like/fronting like they are supporting the cause but they really want you to NOT call them out so they pretend to be involved, pretend to care but they really treating this like a PR stunt. Stop it! You just don’t wanna be called out
