Lizzo To Body Shaming Critics: I’ve Been Working Out For 5 Years, Worry About Your Own D*mn Body!
In a new recent TikTok video, Lizzo shows a compilation of her working out and just enjoying her body as it is. In the video, the 3-time Grammy Award winner shares that she has been working out for the last five years, and she isn’t working on her body for others, but herself.
Hey! So I’ve been working out consistently for the last five years. And it may come as a surprise to some of y’all, but I am not working out to have your ideal body type. I’m working out to have MY ideal body type. And you know what type that is? None of your f**king business. Because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job, and I stay on my job.
She continues,
So next time you want to come to somebody and judge them, whether they drink kale smoothies or eat McDonald’s, or work out, or not work out, how about you look at your own f**king self and worry about your own d*mn body. Because health is not just determined on what you look like on the outside, health is also what happens on the inside, and a lot of y’all need to do a f**king cleanse for your insides. Namaste. Have a great day.
The video received a lot of positive and supportive remarks and comments by fans of hers on Twitter, resulting in her trending on the social media app.

Yeah. Have you seen that woman perform? Have you ever tried to do all that shit she does? No, I bet you haven’t because you’re too busy being passive agressive about Lizzo’s body on Twitter. https://t.co/MX0A7nCc2W

“And to the people, who be putting my name in the comments, thank you. Because if every time you see a big girl on this app, loving on herself, putting herself out there and being confident, loving her body, you think of me? Or you think she looks like me? B*tch that is a what? Compliment!”
