Kim Kardashian Sued By Makers Of KKW Beauty, Afraid She’ll Share Trade Secrets W/ Kylie Jenner Affiliated Company COTY

It seems as though Seed – the company that manufactures, packages, and ships Kim Kardashian West’s KKW Beauty products – is worried that their business relationship with the uber-famous influencer is in trouble.

Seed’s week-old civil lawsuit claims that due to last year’s historic deal between Kylie Jenner and beauty corporation, COTY, Inc., they’re afraid that Kim Kardashian will possibly share trade secrets with COTY. Rumors have swirled that Kim Kardashian West, too, will allegedly sell the majority of her company to COTY over Seed’s heads.

The suit will reportedly prohibit the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star from sharing trade secrets about their company with COTY, Inc. Though no deal with COTY has been cemented, Seed calls their competitor:

“…a concrete threat.”

According to court docs, this is the reason Seed’s trade secrets are held so scared:

“…the contracts related to its various product lines [are] essential to Seed Beauty’s competitive position in the beauty and cosmetics industry.”

Seed plans to use extensive security measures and make all employees and partners sign non-disclosure agreements. Although, it is still unclear whether or not Kylie Jenner provided confidential details about her involvement with Seed to COTY, Inc.

Spokespeople for neither Kim Kardashian-West nor Kylie Jenner have commented on the lawsuit.
