Elise Neal Says Will & Jada Pinkett-Smith’s ‘Unhappy Marriage’ Caused Her To Leave “All Of Us”

Who remembers the UPN sitcom, “All Of Us?” Black Hollywood power couple Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith served as executive producers of the show starring Duane Martin and Elise Neal – which highlighted the ups and downs of a blended family. Elise Neal left the show in 2005 after only two seasons, and she recently revealed that the Smith’s highly publicized love triangle with singer, August Alsina, isn’t a new dynamic for the couple. Elise dished that tensions on the set stemmed from Will’s and Jada’s alleged tumultuous relationship; so much that she decided to leave the show.

Elise said:

“I wasn’t being treated fairly because they were not happy…Everyone knows that I was on ‘All Of Us’ set. If someone is unhappy, they spread that unhappiness to others. And I wasn’t happy on that set because people treated me in a way that I could tell that they were unhappy.”

She continued:

“If they decide that they’re gonna come together, and that’s the type of marriage that they want and they’re okay with that – we are not able to judge that. What I am gonna judge is if I come to work for people and they bring that unhappiness on others like myself. And I felt that and received that on that set. And that’s sad. And I a lot of people know that I exited that set early – and I’m gonna be happy to say, ‘Yeah, I missed the money, but I didn’t miss coming to work unhappy.'”

LisaRaye McCoy, who also starred on “All Of Us,” recently gave her take on Jada Pinkett-Smith’s entanglement with August Alsina.
