Kanye West Shares More Controversial Tweets: I’m Concerned For The World That Feels You Shouldn’t Cry About Abortion
Rapper, fashion designer, and political hopeful Kanye West has taken to Twitter to voice his concerns about the backlash he says he received after a video surfaced of his comments regarding abortion. At a South Carolina rally to promote his run for the presidency, Kanye West admitted that he had considered aborting his firstborn child, North, with wife reality star and up-and-coming attorney Kim Kardashian-West.
Now he’s responded to critics regarding his emotional statements via Twitter. He wrote,
“I cried at the thought of aborting my first born and everyone was so concerned about me… I’m concerned for the world that feels you shouldn’t cry about this subject.”
In another tweet, Kanye West wrote:
“There is a tactic of 4 D’s Distract Discredit Dismiss To Destroy I am quite alright Take a second and think about what is being projected here”
While he is freely opening up about it, his family was reportedly blindsided by his comments about his and Kim Kardashian West’s seven-year-old daughter. An insider said,
“[The Kardashians are] shocked beyond words…[they feel that he is in] desperate need of professional help. [They] feel Kanye West is becoming] a distraction to what is a very important election.”
