El DeBarge Calls Out Sister, Bunny DeBarge, Over Her Latest Book: It’s Filled With Lies And She Knows It
It looks like two siblings of the 1980’s supergroup, DeBarge, are at odds over a book entitled, The Kept Ones: The Fame Years (Volume 2), written by one of the sisters, Bunny DeBarge.
El DeBarge, (born Eldra DeBarge), took to his Instagram to post about his sister’s book. He stated,
I want to make it clear so there is no misunderstanding about this fiction. I want it on the record that my sister @BunnyDeBarge’s books are filled with lies, lies and more lies and she knows it.

On July 1, Bunny DeBarge, (born Etterlene DeBarge), released the newest volume in her book series, The Kept Ones, in which, according to her the book’s description,
unselfishly leads the reader down memory lane with the ups and downs as well as the highs and lows of the entertainment industry.
Although the book reportedly unveils details of the sibling R&B group, it is unclear what El DeBarge is citing as lies.

In 2014, Bunny DeBarge released the highly-rated, first of The Kept Ones: The Beginning Years, highlighting the family’s “triumphs and tribulations,” and exposes their fall from grace, according to the book description.

Due to El DeBarge’s depiction of his sister’s book, fans of the “Rhythm of the Night” singer responded in solidarity with him, saying they wouldn’t be supporting Bunny’s book. They sounded off on Twitter, (read comments below).
