Rick Ross Calls Terry Crews A ‘Coon’ In New Single, Terry Responds & Says He Feels ‘Famous’

It looks like Gabrielle Union isn’t the only celebrity that’s not a fan of Terry Crews. Rapper Rick Ross has now shared his own disappointment with the ‘Brooklyn 99’ actor. During his August 6th Verzuz battle against fellow rapper 2 Chainz, Rick Ross played a new song for his fans called ‘Pinned to the Cross’. In the newly released single, Rick Ross doesn’t hold anything back and raps,

“Terry Crews is another coon who was basically bought”

A fan on Twitter then asked Terry Crews how he felt being dissed by Rick Ross in his latest song and Terry Crews replied:

“Famous”

In July, Crews voluntarily took to Twitter to offer his own definition of the word “coon” and what it means to him. He tweeted,

“Conquer Our Own Negativity”

His tweet received mixed reactions as many people shared their thoughts towards his acronym.

Crews responded to a fan’s criticism over the acronym and said,

“I agree. That word is horrible. But I’ve learned to catch the lemons thrown at you, Make lemonade. Then make lemon bars. Make a lemon scented hand sanitizer, sell the rinds in the spice aisle for bbq lemon pepper wings then take the seeds and grow more lemon trees”

Crews then doubled down on his initial tweet and tweeted

“Any Black person who calls me a coon or an Uncle Tom for promoting EQUALITY is a Black Supremist, because they have determined who’s Black and who is not.”

This isn’t the first time that Crews was in the hot seat because of his tweets. The actor was also under fire for sharing his thoughts on the black lives matter movement.
