Antonio Brown On Past Drama With His Fiancée: I Realize How Much I Put My Girl Through, She Supported Me In The Midst Of It
Earlier this year, Antonio Brown and the mother of his three children Chelsie Kyriss got into an explosive dispute, that was all caught on camera.
The former NFL star went live on Instagram to capture the heated moment as he accused Chelsie Kyriss of allegedly trying to steal his Bentley.
In the video, he’s walking around the said white Bentley, showing multiple police cars are in the area. He said,
“A whole lotta broke h*es, that’s what it is. They’re broke and they can’t finesse so they try to come steal. You see it? You come to take the kids to school? You can’t take them, so you try to steal.”
Now months later, it seems as if Antonio Brown realizes how much he’s put his fiancé through and is thankful she never left his side. In a recent interview, he said his departure from the NFL had a negative impact on him.
“You know when you go through a relationship, being that I had to fall off, I’m used to playing football, and like being gone and having things that keep my mind and spiritual and physical going. But you know I had to step back and realize how important family is. And I realize much I put my girl through, and how much she done supported me in the midst of it. So I think when you go through things, it kinda teaches you how to do the right thing, make things better, or make you realize how you haven’t always done the right thing. So I think for me going through all the stuff, knowing I still have my girl still there, it just provided me that clarity.”
Adding,
“When you high and when you low, you remember the ones who stayed there with you. I wasn’t at a good stage in my life early in the year, not being able to do what I do professionally so I think I was fighting the battle.”
Antonio Brown then touched on his ego and money being a factor of him not being in the right place emotionally.
“When you’re a young, rich guy you see things from your ego, instead of the reality of things. I think my ego got in the way a lot, early in the year I wasn’t able to do what I professionally do, so I think emotionally I wasn’t at a right place. Then as a man and as a person, sometimes you react in a bad way because we’re hurt.”
He added that he takes full responsibility for his actions.
“Sometimes your spouse or you might say something, or you say something to your spouse that you don’t mean, you’re just saying that because you’re hurt. You know that time I was hurt. But it’s called being mature, being responsible for your actions, and I take full responsibility. She’s here with me right now.”
“Being a professional young guy I done made a whole lot of money, so sometimes I can think from the money perspective, and we gotta remember God places us in these positions. So I gotta remember to think from a spiritual perspective.”
In January, Antonio Brown and Chelsie Kyriss shared photos of Chelsie rocking a baby bump, seemingly announcing that she was pregnant.

They then welcomed their youngest child last month.

The pair has three children together.
