Wendy Williams & Ex-Husband Kevin Hunter Sell Their New Jersey Mansion Following Their Divorce
Wendy Williams and her now-ex-husband Kevin Hunter have officially sold their New Jersey mansion. According to reports, the former couple sold the 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home for about $500k under their initial $2 million asking price due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As previously reported, the luxury home was placed on the market in August of last year following Wendy Williams filing for divorce. Wendy Williams has been living in an apartment which has doubled as a studio for her to film her Wendy @ Home television show amid the coronavirus pandemic.
News broke that Wendy Williams was leaving her husband of 22 years in April of 2019 following reports that he had a mistress for over a decade and was having a baby with her. Their divorce was finalized this past January. After Wendy Williams filed for divorce, Kevin Hunter released a statement apologizing for his actions.
“28 years ago I met an amazing woman: Wendy Williams. At the time, I didn’t realize that she would not only become my wife, but would also change the face of entertainment and the world. I have dedicated most of our lives to the business empire that is Wendy Williams Hunter, a person that I truly love and respect unconditionally. I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans. I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs.”
He added:
“No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine. I ask that you please give me and my family privacy as we heal. Thank you.”
