SZA Says #FreeSZA Isn’t Needed After She Suggests ‘Hostile’ Relationship W/ Her Label: Don’t Nobody Need To Free Me
SZA has made it clear that despite her recent tweet, she doesn’t need saving.
SZA first responded to fans after they questioned her about new music. It’s been three years since she released her breakout album CTRL. She tweeted:
“At this point y’all gotta ask punch. I’ve done all I can do.”

She also suggested they have a “hostile” relationship.

Her tweet referred to Terrence “Punch” Henderson, the president of Top Dawg Entertainment where SZA is currently signed.
That set social media ablaze as fans flooded Punch’s Twitter and Instagram, demanding that he allow her to release new music. He even responded:
“I am a person and you guys are hurting my feelings.”

So you mean to tell me all this time SZA couldn’t put out music because of her manager…#freesza pic.twitter.com/a6oNEUVYxZ
