Tina Lawson Addresses Beyoncé’s Critics In B-Day Message: Some People Don’t Get It & Are Slower Than Others
One thing we know for sure is that Tina Lawson will always show love and support to her daughter Beyonce, especially on her birthday. Beyonce turned 39 Friday (Sept. 4th) and the superstar’s mom took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday message.
“Happy Birthday to my forever little girl ( in my head) from your biggest fan since your birth!! You have brought me soo much joy and have poured into me so much love and confidence . ( yes confidence ,at my lowest points you, Solange, Kelly, and Angie booted me up and helped me remember my power)!!”
Tina Lawson continued,
“I am so lucky to have you in my life. Keep being a light to so many and a warrior that keeps it moving forward even when some people don’t get you, some get it now, and some oh well!!! It takes them a lot longer but maybe they’ll get it next year. Some are slower than others! Happy Birthday Baby!!!!”

Along with the birthday message, Tina Lawson included a throwback video clip of a young Beyonce singing the lyrics to “Home” from the 1978 musical film The Wiz. The Instagram post was flooded with birthday wishes and love for Queen Bey.
She also shared a montage of clips featuring Beyonce, her husband Jay-Z, and her Destiny’s Child moments.
Happy birthday, Beyonce!
