Usher’s Girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea Confirms They Have A Baby On The Way

Usher has a lot to be excited about!  Not only did he just announce his newest venture, a 2021 Las Vegas residency, but it has now been confirmed that the superstar has a child on the way with his girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea.

Usher’s two other children, sons, Usher Raymond V, 12, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 11, are from his previous marriage to businesswoman and fashion stylist, Tameka Foster, whom he divorced in 2009.

After speculation across social media, Jennifer Goicoechea put the rumors to rest by taking to her Instagram to congratulate her “baby daddy” on his big Vegas venture.

Usher also confirmed the baby news on a Good Morning America appearance.

After the GMA hosts congratulated the singer on expecting a baby, Usher exclaimed,

“Very excited about that.  Great news, great news. Thank you guys so much.”

He also said his sons are

“elated, excited.  You know, babies always bring such joy to a family, and uh, really, really excited for my young one, well, my [inaudible] arrival.”

Usher’s second wife, Grace Miguel, who now goes by Grace Harry, recently shared finding true joy while

“on the verge of divorce number three.”

Grace and the “Confessions” star were divorced in 2008 after a reported nine-month-long separation.  She shares, in part,

“The more I went to pleasure and joy, the more all these bizarre societal beliefs—all these shoulds and can’ts—came up. [Beliefs like] you have to be married, sexy as hell, cook a five-course meal, entertain the community, be available for sex all the time, love every in-law, create humans.”

These days though, Usher seems to be quite happy in his current relationship with Jennifer Goicoechea!
