Terry Crews Suggests ‘You Aren’t Black & Successful’ Unless You’ve Been Called A Coon
Actor Terry Crews has made another controversial comment on social media.
Yesterday (Sept. 15th), it started when Kanye West asked for solidarity for all men, regardless of race.
“I have the utmost respect for all brothers … we need to link and respect each other… no more dissing each other on labels we don’t own”
A fan responded saying that social media was going to call Kanye West “the C-word” like they have done in the past with Terry Crews, possibly referencing the times Terry Crews has been called a “coon.”

Terry Crews replied,
“You are not officially Black and successful until they do”

Rapper Rick Ross recently called the “America’s Got Talent” host the word during his August 6th Verzuz battle against fellow rapper 2 Chainz. Rick Ross played a new song for his fans called ‘Pinned to the Cross’, where he calls Terry Crews a “coon.” He raps:
“Terry Crews is another coon who was basically bought”
A fan on Twitter later asked Terry Crews how he felt about being dissed by Rick Ross in his latest song and Terry Crews replied:
“Famous”
Earlier this year, Terry Crews created his own version of what the word “coon” means to him. He tweeted,
“Conquer Our Own Negativity”
