Cardi B Isn’t Divorcing Offset Because He’s Having A Baby, ‘There Is No Other Child’, Source Said

Cardi B’s decision to divorce Offset earlier this week led to lots of speculation of why she ended their marriage after three years.

Now, an insider is shutting down rumors that she filed because he’s expecting a secret child with another woman.

They told Page Six:

“There is no other child. No baby is on the way. That rumor is super false. Cardi is thinking of her child and wants everything to be amicable. She’s evolved over the years and continues to.”

They added that she changed the initial filings that asked for primary physical of their daughter, Kulture, 2.

“She went back to have the petition amended because she wasn’t aware that it read ‘primary custody.’ She wants them both to have custody and to co-parent.”

They continued:

“She’s not requesting spousal support or child support. She wants everything to be super amicable.”

Offset hasn’t spoken out about the filing, but he did share an Instagram image with a cryptic caption Wednesday (Sept. 16th) that read:

“Grind don’t stop”

While a love child might not be the reason Cardi B filed for divorce, he was said to have been unfaithful during most of their marriage.

An insider said:

“Offset has pretty much cheated the entire time [they’ve been together], but Cardi looked the other way because of the baby. She also didn’t want to be embarrassed. But she’s had enough.”

Cardi B previously defended their relationship in 2018 and said:

“I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now. And we’re really good friends and you know, we’re really good business partners, and he’s always somebody that I run to talk to. We’ve got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time. And it’s nobody’s fault. I guess we just grew out of love but we’re not together anymore. It might take time to get a divorce. I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”
