Kanye West Will ‘Personally’ Make Sure ‘Taylor Swift Gets Her Masters Back’
It’s no secret Kanye West and Taylor Swift have had their issues over the years. But in his recent battle with the music industry, he’s promised to get Taylor Swift’s masters back for her.
Taylor Swift’s fight to regain ownership of her masters was publicized last year when she called out Scooter Braun for buying her masters without her knowledge.
She wrote in June 2019:
“Some fun facts about today’s news: I learned about Scooter Braun’s purchase of my masters as it was announced to the world. All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years.”

Now that Kanye West is in a similar challenge of his own, he’s promised to help Taylor Swift come out victorious. He tweeted Friday (Sept. 18th):
“I’M GOING TO PERSONALLY SEE TO IT THAT TAYLOR SWIFT GETS HER MASTERS BACK. SCOOTER IS A CLOSE FAMILY FRIEND”

“…if Taylor’s cost $300 million yours would cos ta lot more I assume. Remember that if you re-recorded these songs you could own these new masters outright.”
