LeBron James Reacts To Lori Loughlin Choosing Where To Serve Her Prison Sentence: We Want The Same Treatment!
LeBron James didn’t mince his words in a recent Instagram post regarding actress Lori Loughlin‘s two-month jail sentence. On Friday (September 18), the Los Angeles Lakers star shared. a headline that announced she could serve her prison sentence at a facility she chooses.
LeBron James, who has been a very vocal presence in the recent protests concerning racial injustice against African-Americans, seemed to be very offended by the news. He wrote:
“Of her what!!??? I’m laughing cause sometimes you have to just to stop from crying! Don’t make no d*** sense to me. We just want the same treatment if committed of same crime that’s all. Is that asking for to much??? Let me guess, it is huh. Yeah I know!! We’ll just keep pushing forward and not expecting the handouts! STRONG, BLACK & POWERFUL!”

Celebrities like T.I., 50 Cent, 2 Chainz, and Viola Davis also shared their thoughts in the comments.

Lori Loughlin, known for her role as Aunt Becky on the hit 1990s TV show “Full House” and its Netflix spinoff “Fuller House,” was indicted in March 2019 along with her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, for their participation in a college admissions scandal. They were accused of paying a half-million-dollar bribe to make sure their two daughters, Olivia Jade Giannulli and Bella Giannulli, were accepted into the prestigious University of Southern California. After maintaining their innocence for months, the couple changed their plea from innocent to guilty earlier this year. During her August hearing that was held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic, Lori said:
“I made an awful decision. I went along with the plan to give my daughters an unfair advantage in the college admissions process. In doing so, [I] ignored my intuition and allowed myself to be swayed from my moral compass. I thought I was acting out of love for my children, but in reality, I had only undermined and diminished my daughters’ abilities and accomplishments.”
Mossimo Giannulli was given a five-month prison sentence and Lori was given a two-month prison sentence which is scheduled to begin in November. A judge has approved Lori’s request to serve her sentence at a low-security facility in Victorville, California, which is close to her home.
