Tory Lanez Says His Son Would Be “Heartbroken If I Ever Went Anywhere” Amidst Facing Potential Jail Time For Allegedly Shooting Megan Thee Stallion
Tory Lanez pens a warm message to his son Kai, just days after he was officially charged for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion. Tory shared the message on his Instagram story on Saturday (Oct.10). He wrote,
“I’ll never let anything or anybody stop me from being a real role model and great father in your life… U would be heart broken if I ever went anywhere. I’ll always be with u… your my everything Kai! And I love and got u forever.”
As previously reported, Tory Lanez was charged on Thursday (Oct.8) with felony assault for the shooting incident with rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Tory was charged with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm – personal use of firearm – carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.
On Friday (Oct. 9), Tory Lanez shared a tweet in relation to the charges and wrote:
“[Time will tell]… and the truth will come to the light … I have all faith in God to show that … love to all my fans and people that have stayed true to me & know my heart … a charge is not a conviction . If you have supported me or meg thru this , I genuinely appreciate u .”
Tory Lanes’s father, Sonstar, also spoke out and shared an encouraging message to his son following the news of the charges. Sonstar wrote:
“My son @torylanez I say to you this day. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will show to you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more.You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you Daystar.Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out and face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.’”

Tory Lanez arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 13.
