Cardi B Explains How She Accidentally Posted A Topless Photo Of Herself Online: I Was Trying To Send A Picture To Offset!

Cardi B recently took the time to explain how she accidentally posted a nude photo of herself online. Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, took to Instagram live and shared details on what lead her to post the photo for the world to see. While speaking to her fans the ‘WAP’ rapper shared how the mistake stemmed from her trying to send her husband, rapper Offset,  a photo of her swollen top lip.

She said,

“And I’m telling Offset ‘Yo, I feel like my top lip looks swollen’ and he’s like ‘no I don’t think it looks swollen.’ Cause I hit myself under here and it f*cking it got like a little swoll. So I’m like ‘on camera it looks swoll. Let me show you.’ So I’m taking the f*cking picture! B*tch…I’m taking the f*cking picture, right.”

Cardi B continued and shared the exact moment she realized she was posting the photo online instead of sending it to Offset.

“And I f*cking press and I’m seeing that it’s loading and I’m like ‘Oh my god, Oh my god Offset! Oh my god, the picture’s loading.’ And he’s like ‘What what what?!’ And I turn off the phone because I see that it’s going…you know when you post something and your story starts [loading]? So I turn off my f*cking phone so it won’t load. And I’m like ‘Yo [Offsett] check it the f*cking picture posted’ and he’s like ‘Yo, you posted a picture of the f*cking t*t.’” 

She added, 

“By the time I f*cking turned my phone on and f*cking deleted the sh*t everybody and they mom saw my big a** salami nipple t*tties.” 

Cardi B seems to still be in a good headspace following her mistake. As previously reported, the mother of one was able to wave off the incident after she initially posted the topless image. Via her Twitter voice memos she said, 

“You know what?  I’m not even gonna beat myself up about it.  I’m just gonna eat my breakfast.  Just gonna eat my breakfast, right?  I’m gonna eat my breakfast. Then I’m gonna go to a party.  Because I’m not even gonna think about it.  I am not going to think about it, okay? Nope.  No I’m not. I won’t.  It is what it is. Sh*t happens.  Um, f*ck it. This not even the first time, I mean I used to f*cking be a stripper so whatever.  Ay dios mio”.

She also posted to her IG stories to clarify that there’s no one to blame for the mistake but herself.
