Diplo Denies He’s Living With 19-Year-Old TikTok Star Quenlin Blackwell: There’s Nothing But Friendship Between Us

Super producer Diplo, 41, is making headlines after it was reported that he is living with 19-year-old TikTok creator Quenlin Blackwell.

The pair became the object of public scrutiny after a TikTok live video aired and showed Quenlin Blackwell, 19, saying that she was currently living with the producer.

“I live with Diplo right now, and he fully supports my endeavors.”

Diplo has since cleared the air on his relationship with Quenlin Blackwell, stating that he’s her landlord.  In a series of tweets he wrote:

“OK so I rent one of my properties to Quenlin Blackwell. And yes I use the studio that is in that building. Her social media is sarcastic and chaotic and I can see you can get a twisted idea but there is nothing but a friendship between us.”

He added,

“As a land lord I don’t really consider age or race as a qualification. U just gotta pay security deposit. And don’t poke holes in the walls or ruin my carpet.”

Quenlin Blackwell also followed up with a statement denying the rumors.  In a tweet she said:

“I’m and adult. I’m not being groomed. Platonic relationships exist. I’ve been living here for over a year..I’d rather break both of my legs and be forced to walk than pursue Diplo romantically and he’d rather choke.”

She adds,

“He’s barely in LA bc he’s so busy. Diplo has given me the opportunity and the security to create. Diplo and his team are my mentors in LA and they are my safety net. Diplo and his team have saved me numerous times from the weirdos in LA. My parents trust him. I trust him. Ya’ll are making me feel icky. Diplo is my LA dad.. nothing more.”

In another reply to a fan on Twitter, when asked what the 41 -year-old producer has in common with a 19-year-old, he replied:

“We made music together”
