Ari Lennox Doesn’t Plan On Releasing A New Album For A While, “I Don’t See Me Releasing An Album For Like Years”
It seems as though Ari Lennox will not be releasing a new album anytime soon. The 29-year old R&B singer took to Twitter on Friday (Nov.27) and got candid with her fans. In a string of tweets, Ari let her fans know that it may be a few years before she releases an album. She wrote,
“So long story short I don’t see me releasing an album for like years.”

She later adds that she doesn’t want her music to be “inauthentic”.
“I don’t want it corny or inauthentic. It’s easy to write about love/sex.”
A fan then asked Ari when could we expect some new music. Ari replied,
“Lmao hopefully early next year”

Legendary rapper/producer Missy Elliot joined in on the conversation and gave some advise to Ari Lennox about the struggles of being a song writer. Missy wrote,
“As a writer myself many may not understand what it takes writing a song… I always say your mind is like a computer it have to refresh if not it will crash. So you trust when you are ready so you can continue to give Quality over Quanity”

Ari seemed to be appreciative of Missy Elliott’s kind words and thanked her for dropping some jewels. She replied,
“You are such a blessing to music and to the world and to me. Thank you for these real ass words. I definitely need to refresh.”

Fans will just have to wait and see when Ari Lennox decides to drop new music.
