LeBron James Slams Football Coach Who Smacked A 9-Year-Old Player: We Gone Have More Than Words
LeBron James had a few words for a youth football coach who made headlines after a video of him smacking a child player went viral Wednesday (Dec. 9th).
The incident took place at the American Youth Football National Championships in Kissimmee, Florida.
In the clip, the coach is seen smacking the child, who is said to be nine years old.
No room in the game for coaches like this. I hope he is arrested and banned for life. https://t.co/1B0F2cLiqH

LeBron James is just one of the people who reacted to the disturbing video.
He shared it on his Instagram stories and wrote:
“Ain’t no way!! Couldn’t be my kid…If I there and it’s not even my kid we gone have more than words for sure.”
Shannon Sharpe also reacted on Twitter.

The coach later apologized on social media.
“Everyone has something negative to say. I’m gonna apologize for my actions about what took place. But at the end of the day, I am a man and I’m not gonna make excuses for what I did. I was wrong. I shouldn’t have disciplined him in public. I should’ve waited until we got back for doing what he did.”
“At the end of the day, I apologized to him, the kids, the city, my family back at home, I do apologize. There’s no excuse for my actions… He forgave me, and his parents have forgiven me, so nobody else should be bashing me.”
His weakass apology. That wasn’t his kid and the parents forgave him? Smh couldn’t be mine. pic.twitter.com/deFKpVTYNP
