Gabrielle Union & Keith Powers To Play Love Interests In New Netflix Movie, Union Will Also Produce
Gabrielle Union and Keith Powers are slated to star as each other’s love interests in one of Netflix’s newest romantic comedies.
Gabrielle Union will also produce the film, The Perfect Find, with Confluential Films. It’s inspired by a novel from Tia Williams and adapted by Leigh Davenport, who is also producing Wendy Williams’ biopic. Nina Perrier is on board as the director.

“Union stars as Jenna Jones, who is hopeful that her new job in beauty journalism will be a fresh start in her life. She soon learns that her new boss, Darcy, is her frenemy. Jenna starts a relationship with the company’s videographer, Eric, and things get complicated when she learns he’s Darcy’s son.”
Keith Powers, who also played Ronnie DeVoe in BET’s The New Edition Story, expressed his excitement over the news on Instagram Friday (Dec. 18th):
