Activist & TV Host Marc Lamont Hill Shares His Sister Died 1 Day After Burying His Father [CONDOLENCES]
Marc Lamont Hill is sadly mourning the loss of his father and his sister, who died within just days of one another.
The TV personality and professor shared the news on Twitter Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 30th).
“My sister died this morning. We just buried our father yesterday. This is the cruelest year that I’ve ever experienced.”

His name quickly trended on Twitter as fans poured in with condolences and well wishes.

He first shared news of his father’s passing on Dec. 12.
“Yesterday morning, my father passed away. 92 years old. Although I’ve lost so much joy, I’m grateful that he is no longer in pain. Giving thanks for the blessing of his life.”

He also mourned his father as he celebrated his own birthday on Dec. 17th.
“Today has been the most difficult birthday of my life. What a year…. I’ve suffered so much loss, so much pain, so much uncertainty… What I wouldn’t give to be the little boy in this picture for just one day…. If I could just get one more “Happy Birthday” phone call from my father… But life is what it is… And although this time has been more difficult than words can explain, I remain grateful for the gift of life. I am also deeply hopeful that the next year will bring me more “good love, healthy choices, and second chances.” 42 will be dope. I’m naming it and claiming it.”

Prayers for Marc Lamont Hill and his family during this devastating time!
