Tinashe Calls Out People Who Want To Bring In 2021 Partying: After The Year We Just Had, Y’all Some Weirdos
It’s safe to say 2020 was a grueling year for most, but one person who won’t be partying when 2021 makes its highly-anticipated arrival is singer Tinashe.
She tweeted on Dec. 30th
“for all the people planning on partying going into 2021 after the year we just had… yall some weirdos fr”
She added:
“this year has revealed how truly selfish a lot of people are”

She agreed with a fan who said the year has also proven how compassionate others are.

Still, she went on to tweet:
“If I cut you off this year, you deserved it”

Tinashe continued on New Year’s Eve Thursday and spoke on the COVID-19 pandemic:
“The problem is that people think catching COVID is their business, when in reality it affects us all. I really hope people find a little more empathy and compassion for others in 2021”

This isn’t the first time Tinashe has spoken about COVID-19’s impact on holiday celebrations.
She and Ariana Grande urged people to steer clear of parties during Halloween festivities.
