EXCLUSIVE: BET Network Working On Non-Scripted Show Forming Superstar Girl Group

theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports that BET is allegedly gearing up to release a new show prepping a girl group.

Sources tell us that the working title of the show is allegedly “Next Chance Girl Group” and that they’re currently filming.

No further details about the project have been released.

You may recall that in 2016, Destiny Child member Kelly Rowland formed a girl group on her show Chasing Destiny which aired for one season on BET.

The BET docu-series, Chasing Destiny, was produced by singer Kelly Rowland. The premise of the show was to form her a girl group. 5 women were chosen.

The group June’s Diary is composed of members Kristal Lyndriette, Ashly Williams, Brienna DeVlugt, Shyann Roberts and Gabrielle Carreiro. The ladies revealed in 2018, that they were dropped from their label.
