Michael Strahan Reportedly Tests Positive For COVID-19
Michael Strahan has recently tested positive for COVID-19, according to reports.
Insiders said he’s been MIA from “Good Morning America” this week because of the alleged positive diagnosis. He also made a virtual appearance on FOX NFL Sunday to report on the NFC Championship in order to take safety precautions, according to TMZ Wednesday, Jan. 27th.
He was reportedly told he tested positive on Saturday (Jan. 23rd) after coming in contact with someone who had COVID-19 last week. He began to quarantine right away. He’s said to be planning to announce and discuss the diagnosis on “Good Morning America” Thursday, Jan. 28th. Fortunately, he doesn’t have any serious symptoms.
Michael Strahan’s daughters are also reportedly getting tested after interacting with him after he was exposed to the virus.
The news comes as Tyler Perry has announced he will be getting the COVID-19 vaccine on a televised special on BET.
He said recently,
“Here is the alternative, you can take your chances with COVID-19 and unfortunately you don’t know how it is going to affect you. There are some people who are asymptomatic and are fine and there are other people who get it and die.”
Praying for a speedy recovery for Michael Strahan!
