Ex NFL Star Chad Wheeler’s Girlfriend Wants Him To Go To Jail After Allegedly Attacking Her: I Am Not Safe
The girlfriend of former Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Chad Wheeler is pushing for him to get jail time after he allegedly brutally attacked her.
As previously reported, Chad Wheeler has been charged for allegedly physically assaulting his girlfriend because she refused to bow to him. He allegedly dislocated her arm, choked her, and smashed in her face during the altercation. See details here.
He pleaded not guilty amid facing charges for first-degree domestic violence assault, domestic violence unlawful imprisonment, and resisting arrest, according to ESPN. He also released a statement on Twitter apologizing for his actions and announcing his departure from the league.

He could get nine to 12 years in prison if he’s convicted. He is currently out of jail after posting $400,000 bail.
Now, according to documents obtained by Seattle’s KOMO News, his girlfriend wants him behind bars.
She reportedly attended the hearing wearing an arm sling as someone read a statement on her behalf:
“I want you to know that I believe that as long as (Wheeler) is not in custody I am not safe. … Chad never called the police (after the assault) even though he thought I was dead. Now, Chad is out of custody staying in a hotel watching this play out on social media. This current status places my safety at risk, and I do not believe that a protective order or a condition of release is sufficient to keep me safe.”
At the same time, Chad Wheeler’s lawyers want him to remain in Washington state and wear a home monitoring device.
His trial is scheduled to begin on April 6.
