Piers Morgan Slams Gayle King For Recent Talks W/ Prince Harry & Meghan Markle: Do Your Job & Ask Them About The Lies They Told

Piers Morgan isn’t letting up!

The British TV personality is still sending messages on social media after receiving tons of backlash for his comments about Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey. 

He stormed off the set of ITV’s Good Morning Britain after saying he didn’t believe Meghan Markle’s claims that she suffered racism while living in the palace. While reports swirled that he was off the show for good, he responded with:

“Reports of my ITV demise have been greatly exaggerated….I’m back already.”

Now, he’s turned his energy to Gayle King. 

As previously reported, the CBS This Morning anchor said she had a recent conversation with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after their interview with Oprah Winfrey aired. She said she was told Prince Harry’s talks with his father, Prince Charles, and his brother, Prince Harry were “not productive.”

“Harry has talked to his brother, and he has talked to his father too. The word I was given, those conversations were not productive. But they are glad they at least started a conversation. I think what’s still upsettig to them is the palace keeps saying they want to work it out privately but yet all these false stories are coming out that are very disparaging against Meghan still.”

She added,

“I think it’s frustrating for them to see that it’s a racial conversation about the royal family when all they wanted all along was for the royals to intervene and tell the press to stop with the unfair, inaccurate false stories that definitely have a racial slant. Until you can acknowledge that, I think it’s going to be hard to move forward.”

She concluded,

“They both want to move forward with this. They both want healing with the family. At the end of the day, that’s Harry’s family.”

It’s safe to say Piers Morgan isn’t a fan of her comments. He called out on Twitter and wrote,

“Hi @GayleKing– rather than acting as your Sussex friends’ PR mouthpiece to facilitate their ongoing public trashing of our Royal Family, how about doing your job as a journalist and ask them about all the lies they told in @Oprah’s interview? America should hear THE truth.”

He went on to address that his remarks about Meghan Markle were racist and wrote,

“Two key points from the past week that need reinforcing: 1) It’s not ‘racist’ to disbelieve someone who’s telling lies. 2) You don’t have to agree with a word I say to support my right to have my own opinions.”
