But a tweet comparing the two set off a viral debate of who is better Saturday (April 10th), causing Will Smith to trend on Twitter.
A social media user kicked things off when he wrote earlier this week,
“Nah Ya really think JAMIE FOXX HAS MORE RANGE THAN WILL SMITH??!!!”

Both have had sitcoms, award-winning music, and top-notch acting roles. Will Smith’s breakout role was The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, while Jamie Foxx’s The Jamie Foxx Show is also a classic.
Will Smith has won three Grammy Awards for Men In Black, Gettin’ Jiggy With It, and Summertime.
Jamie Foxx has taken home a Grammy for Blame It.
Will Smith hasn’t won an Oscar Award yet (he was nominated for Ali and Pursuit of Happyness), and Jamie Foxx won an Oscar award for his role in Ray.
It’s safe to say fans have a favorite when it comes to comparing the two.
