Drake Trolls Rory’s Absence From ‘The Joe Budden Podcast’ [VIDEO]

Drake Jokingly Gives An Update On Rory’s Absence From ‘The Joe Budden Podcast’

There has been much speculation surrounding The Joe Budden Podcast since fans noticed that Joe Budden’s co-hosts Rory Farrell and Mal Clay have been absent since March. Now, more than two weeks later, Farrell and Clay have yet to appear in an episode of the popular podcast, leaving fans desperate for answers. Joe Budden took to Instagram on Thursday (Apr.8) and shared a funny video of his barber explaining how  customers are asking him if he has any updates on the current status of The Joe Budden Podcast. Budden captioned the post,

“Was getting a cut when my barber started talking about the podcast… it felt good to know so many ppl care, as the barbershop is a metric for what’s near and dear to the hood’s heart, but why are y’all asking him ANYTHING about a pod?! F*ck does he know… lmao”

Drake caught wind of Budden’s post and jokingly commented claiming he had an update on Rory’s absence. The ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ rapper wrote,

“I mean I saw Rory sipping a Sauvignon Blanc tonight and he made a toast but everyone else was engaged in conversation so his glass was hanging in the air for like a good 17 seconds before they clued in…if that’s any update”

Joe Budden replied to Drake’s joke,
“FAM!!! lol You gotta chill out”

Naturally, fans enjoyed the 34-year-old rapper cracking a joke on the matter. Many fans commented  saying Drake was being funny and petty.

Last month, Joe Budden spoke out on the alleged drama and revealed that he and Rory Farrell are in therapy.

Joe Budden said on Instagram Live,

“I don’t think I’m supposed to divulge our therapy plans publicly, but we are going to therapy. I am a therapy baby, man… Some of y’all know this. I know some of y’all only get your perception of me from the internet, but I’m a therapy baby. When something is wrong, we’re calling the therapist. Let’s get to the bottom of it.”

Joe Budden first broke his silence on Rory Farrell and Mal Clay’s absence on the “Tea Leaves” episode of his podcast that aired on March 24th. He said,

“I’ll eliminate some of the suspense. This is Rory’s seat, and this is Mal’s seat. Whenever they feel like returning to their seats, then they’ll return to their seats. And then what will happen is the same thing when your star player comes back to the team.”

Neither parties have fully explained what caused the shift in their business relationship.
