Lil Nas X Drops New Controversial T-Shirt Line In Response To Criticism He Received Over Montero Music Video & “Satan Shoes”
Lil Nas X has released a t-shirt line that fires back at the critics of his infamous “satan shoes.” According to reports, Lil Nas X, born Montero Lamar Hill, has teamed up with creative production company Pizzaslime to create three different tees, each priced at $33, that seemingly make fun of the people who were upset over the music video for his song Montero and the “satan shoes” he released for promotion.
One of the shirts says in large white font,
“I [Heart] Jesus,”
it’s followed by smaller print that reads,
“and that one part in the ‘Montero’ music video by Lil Nas X when he gets nasty with the devil because it was a cool form of self-expression and art.”

A second option for fans to purchase says,
“I watched the ‘Montero’ video by Lil Nas X and all I got was this lousy shirt and now I’m also gay and love Satan.”

Lil Nas X t-shirt release follows backlash the 22-year-old entertainer received after he partnered with MSCHF to sell 666 pairs of “Satan Shoes”, which reportedly featured a drop of real human blood. The infamous shoes were priced at $1,018 per pair and sold out in less than a minute. However, the shoes were stopped from being released after Nike sued MSCHF for copyright infringement. Following the lawsuit, MSCHF agreed to recall the shoes and offer refunds to those who’d purchased pairs.
