Tisha Campbell & Tichina Arnold Say A ‘Martin’ Reboot Probably Isn’t Happening: Not Unless It’s An Animation
The Martin reboot might not be happening after all.
The show aired from 1992-1997 and starred Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold, Tommy Ford, and Carl Anthony Payne.
After cast members Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, and Tichina Arnold reunited in 2018, there was speculation that the classic sitcom would get a revival.

Tisha Campbell said in November 2020 that the cast was hoping to do a reboot.
“We are trying to. It’s so hard to say.”
Now, she and Tichina Arnold have confirmed it’s not likely that it will happen.
The two ladies appeared on The Tamron Hall Show Friday (April 23rd), and Tichina Arnold, 51, said,
“It’s something that we wanted to happen. It’s something that we tried very hard for it to happen, but the way it looks to me, realistically, it’s not going to happen.”
She added,
“Not unless it’s an animation. Tisha brought up a great idea to do animation of it. But I would say a show can never ever be rebooted without the original cast.”
But all hope isn’t lost to see the cast back together again.
“Now, we may be able to have a rebirth.”
Tisha Campbell added,
“Or a reunion.”

Tommy Ford
Tichina Arnold went onto point out that star Tommy Ford passed away. The actor sadly died in 2016.
“Maybe, but as far as a reboot, I don’t think that’s going to happen. Tommy is no longer with us.”
She concluded,
“This show is never going to be the same, it’s never and some things are best left alone.”
