Future Appears To Shade Ex-Girlfriend Lori Harvey In Song: Tell Steve Harvey I Don’t Want Her
Did Future just take a dig at his ex in one of his songs?
Yesterday evening (Wednesday, May 19th), an audio clip began circulating that suggested rapper Future was throwing shade at his ex-girlfriend, Lori Harvey. She and Future were first romantically linked back in late 2018, and their on-and-off relationship fizzled out in August 2020. She and actor Michael B. Jordan went public with their relationship in January of this year, although they had been seen together since November 2020. Around that same time, Future began seeing rapper Dess Dior.

Despite the two finding new romances, it seems as though Future recently decided to name-drop Lori Harvey! In the audio clip, listeners can hear Future first sing “Then it’s over” shortly before he states:
“Tell Steve Harvey I don’t want her.”

As the well-known Steve Harvey is Lori Harvey‘s father, this instantly caused listeners to jump to the conclusion that Future was attempting to diss her.
Future, Lori Harvey, and Steve Harvey have not yet commented on the audio leak snippet. However, Future did retweet something earlier today (Thursday, May 20th) that may be an additional jab at Lori Harvey. The rapper retweeted:
“(Respect to all women) I BOUGHT THAT B**** A PATEK.”

It looks like things may still be tense between Future and Lori Harvey despite the two finding new partners after they split months ago.
