50 Cent Reveals Starz Had Issue W/ Him Announcing Actress Patina Miller’s Role In ‘Power’ Spinoff, Says He’s Ready To ‘Get The F*** Outta Here’
50 Cent may be ready to end his long-time partnership with Starz network.
Since 2014, 50 Cent [also known as Curtis Jackson] has starred in and executive produced the award-winning series Power, which generated a large viewership and following for the network. Since the success of Power and Power Book II:Ghost, and with anticipation mounting for the additional Power spin-offs: Raising Kanan, and Force, and Influence, 50 Cent has been able to leverage his partnership with Starz. In 2018, he inked a four-year deal with the network to produce three series from his G-Unit.
In excitement, 50 Cent broke the news that actress Patina Miller will be starring in the Power Book III: Raising Kanan series. Starz apparently became upset with 50 Cent for revealing that information. 50 Cent took to Instagram with this post and caption:
“Starz is upset I posted @patinamiller. I didn’t know that picture wasn’t out, but I do know I have to build faster and get the f**k outta here this sh*t is a mess.”

It doesn’t appear as if it was a secret that Patina Miller would be starring on the show. On February 12th, Patina Miller posted to her IG a picture of some of the cast of the Power spin-off show and captioned:
“Thomas family [insert two red hearts] #rasisingkanan#fbf#powerneverends#powertv”

His four-year, $150 million dollar contractual deal, will be coming to an end next year. With production credits increasing for work 50’s done on projects: For Life, Black Mafia Family, Trill League, and Intercepted, 50 can take his star power and talent anywhere.
