The entertainer–who appeared on programs like Wild ‘N Out and Total Request Live–performed at Tommy T’s Comedy Club in Pleasanton (southeast of Oakland, California) on Saturday, May 29th. After the incident, DC Young Fly carried on with the show–reportedly both joking about the incident while also apologizing to the innocent onlookers. In similar fashion, DC Young Fly posted video of the incident to his own Instagram, partially captioning his post:
“Im from the WestSide of Atlanta… i always stay on point just in case i have to protect myself!!!!! Pleasanton/Oakland i love yal forever and we always have a good time but im mad yal had to see dat side of me [sic].“

It is unclear what exactly the heckler said to incite the altercation, but it appears as though he reportedly walked onstage during DC Young Fly‘s performance–and that’s when it was all over.
