Azealia Banks Says She’s ‘The Least Problematic’ As She Slams Nicki Minaj & Says Megan Thee Stallion ‘Capitalized’ On Shooting Incident
Azealia Banks is at it again.
The rapper took to Instagram to blast Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj.
Interestingly enough, she first appeared to salute Megan Thee Stallion while slamming Nicki Minaj and the Megatron rapper’s fanbase in her Instagram stories.
She appears to be referencing Nicki Minaj’s previous support for her borther, Jelani Maraj, as he was accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old.
Still, she later addressed Megan Thee Stallion and added,
“I didn’t perform at SNL with bulletholes thru broken glass on an led screen- invoking very graphic imagery of a black woman demise to capitalize on it when my drunk night out at Kylie jenners house gone wrong is not even comparable to the tragedy of a black woman literally being shot by police WHILE SHE WAS ASLEEP IN HER BED.”
Azealia Banks was referencing the tragedy of Breonna Taylor, who was fatally shot by police executing a no-knock warrant at her apartment.
She ended her message by claiming she is
“THE LEAST problematic The Most Talented Has the most integrity And you all can kiss my a** with this bulls***”
During Megan Thee Stallion’s SNL performance, the sound of gunshots rang out on tape before audio of Minister Louis Farrakhan speech played with the accompanying text on the screen:
“The most disrespected, unprotected, neglected person in America is the black woman. Who taught you to hate the texture of your hair, the color of your skin, the shape of your nose? Who taught you to hate yourself?”
Megan Thee Stallion also addressed the audience and said,
“We need to protect our black women and love our black women because at the end of the day we need our black women. We need to protect our black men and stand up for our black men because at the end of the day we are tired of seeing hashtags about black men!”
The moment came months after Megan Thee Stallion was shot during a dispute after leaving Kylie Jenner’s home.
She previously named Tory Lanez as the one who shot her.
