Tamar Braxton Reacts To Fan Who Says She Should Replace Meghan McCain: Tamar On ‘The View’?

Could Tamar Braxton be joining another daytime talk show?

The reality star and Grammy-nominated singer appeared to throw her hat into the ring to replace Meghan McCain, who announced today (July 1st) that she’s leaving The View after four seasons.

Shortly after, Tamar Braxton replied to a fan who said Meghan McCain’s replacement should be a person of color and tagged Tamar Braxton. 

She appeared to like the idea and responded,

“Tamar on the view?”

Tamar Braxton is no stranger to daytime TV as she was a co-host on the first two seasons of The Real. 

She was infamously fired ahead of the third season in 2016. The moment was covered on her family’s Wetv reality show Braxton Family Values as she said the firing caused trust issues with her now-former co-stars Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, and Jeannie Mai. 

Since then, she’s been publicly battling with the girls, including a time she told Wendy Williams about cattiness on set, sparking a response from the ladies of The Real. 

Still, she and Tamera Mowry-Housley, who left ahead of the current seventh season, had a sentimental moment on Instagram, and it looks like all of the drama is officially over.

But instead of going back to The Real, Tamar Braxton could have her sights set on The View. She’s been a guest of the show before to discuss her departure from The Real.
