DaBaby Goes Viral After Refusing To Buy Box Of Candy From Kids For $200: You Tried To Play Me
DaBaby is often in the headlines for incidents other than his music, and the latest story is no different.
The rapper shared a video of himself having an interaction with two teens, and the moment is causing him to trend on Twitter today (July 13th).
In the clip, DaBaby opens the door to his sprinter and asks the teen boys for the price of a box of Skittles. They told him it was $200 a box, causing the rapper to get suspicious. He asked how many pieces of candy were in the box, and one teen told him 34.
DaBaby broke down the math and said,
“And you sell them at $2 apiece? What’s 34 x $2? It ain’t $200. It ain’t even $100!”
He tells them it’s only $68 as he buys a bag from each for a couple of dollars.
“You gotta use your head, you tried to play me. I was gonna bless you anyway. You would have gotten the $200 but now you got $2.”
