Dwayne Johnson Laughs Off Vin Diesel’s Comments About Him & Confirms He Won’t Be In Upcoming ‘Fast & Furious’ Films
Dwayne Johnson seems to be standing firm in his decision not to return to another Fast & Furious film. During a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the 49-year-old actor spoke on the movie franchise and comments his former co-star Vin Diesel made about him. Dwayne Johnson, 49, and Vin Diesel, 54, have reportedly been feuding since they filmed The Fate of the Furious in 2016.
Last month Vin Diesel shared that the ‘tough love’ he gives the ‘Central Intelligence’ actor is the reason for their drama. However, Dwayne Johnson seems to disagree with that. When asked how he reacted to Vin Diesel’s claims he said,
“I laughed and I laughed hard. I think everyone had a laugh at that. And I’ll leave it at that.”
Dwayne Johnson continued and wished the best for the Fast & Furious family but made it clear he has no plans on returning.
“And that I’ve wished them well. I wish them well on ‘Fast 9.’ And I wish them the best of luck on ‘Fast 10’ and ‘Fast 11’ and the rest of the ‘Fast & Furious’ movies they do that will be without me.”
It’s unclear what truly started the apparent problems between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel. However, in 2016 Dwayne Johnson did call out a few unnamed Fast & Furious co-stars. Many people speculate that one of the people he was speaking negatively on was Vin Diesel.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Dwayne Johnson wrote,
“Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken sh*t to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you’re right.”

Dwayne Johnson first appeared as agent Luke Hobbs in 2011 for Fast Five. He’s been in a total of four Fast & Furious films and even did a spinoff movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
