Tamar Braxton, August Alsina, Kim Coles & Dennis Rodman To Star In Reboot Of VH1’s ‘The Surreal Life’
Fans of The Surreal Life will get a chance to see the series once again through a recently-announced reboot!
The original version of The Surreal Life aired for six seasons between 2003 and 2006. The series was focused on bringing multiple celebrities together into one house–singer Glen Campbell‘s former Hollywood Hills mansion–for two weeks. During their time together, the show centers on the group’s various activities, challenges, personal relationships, and conflicts.
Now, The Surreal Life is getting rebooted! The new incarnation of the series will feature singer-turned-reality star Tamar Braxton, singer August Alsina, actress Kim Coles, retired NBA star Dennis Rodman, actor Frankie Muniz, former adult film star Stormy Daniels, WWE wrestler CJ Perry, and makeup artist Manny MUA.
Like the original version, the reboot of The Surreal Life will air on VH1. Additionally, the revived series will be produced by the same company that was behind the original, 51 Minds Entertainment. However, it is unclear if the location–Glen Campbell‘s former mansion–will be retained for the reboot.
The Surreal Life is the latest reboot announced. As previously reported, Sex and the City is also getting rebooted. Additionally, the beloved ’90s film House Party is receiving a reboot as well.
