Kanye West Confirms Third ‘Donda’ Listening Event In Chicago, His Manager Bu Says Album Will ‘100 Percent’ Drop After This

Update #1 (Aug. 18th): It looks like Kanye West is gearing up for a third listening party for his highly-anticipated album Donda. He seemingly confirmed reports that with a social media post that reads,

SOLDIER FIELD

He added that the show will start at 9 p.m. local time and tickets will go on sale Friday (Aug. 20).

His manager, Abou “Bu” Thiam, shared the same post and confirmed the album will be released after the event.

Original Story: As the world awaits the commercial release of Donda, Kanye West is rumored to be gearing up for a third listening party!

Yesterday (Tuesday, Aug. 17th), Twitter was flooded with speculation that Kanye West was going to have another listening event for Donda. However, unlike his prior events that were held at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz stadium, the next listening party is allegedly taking place in his hometown of Chicago. According to the reports, it could happen next week. Various Twitter accounts focused on music news shared the speculation on Twitter.

However, it’s worth noting that no one from Kanye West’s camp has confirmed or denied the rumors. In the past, social media personality Justin Laboy has spoken on various subjects pertaining to Kanye West, such as him and Jay-Z linking up for a second Watch the Throne album and Donda being completed.

Despite this, Justin Laboy has not spoken on the rumors of Kanye having a third listening party in Chicago. Additionally, Kanye’s manager and producer–Abou “Bu” Thiam and Mike Dean, respectively–have remained silent on the matter. The same goes for various others who sometimes tweet on Kanye West‘s behalf, including Consequence.

As a result, the reports of a third, Chicago-based listening party remain unconfirmed. However, reports coincide with other speculation that Kanye is moving into another stadium to complete Donda.
